Mr Anthony Eaton is a urological surgeon with special interests in the management of prostate cancer, laparoscopic nephrectomy and urinary incontinence.
Mr Eaton graduated from the University of Tasmania's School of Medicine in 1992. In 1998 he completed a year of post-graduate accredited general surgery training before undertaking four years of specialist training in urology in NSW and Victoria with the Australasian College of Surgeons.
After his specialist training, Mr Eaton spent a post-fellowship year in the United Kingdom, gaining experience in reconstructive urology and cystectomy.
He returned to Hobart in 2003 and has since undertaken further training and study in low-dose brachytherapy, green-light laser prostatectomy, laparoscopic surgery and sacral nerve stimulation.
Mr Eaton has a commitment to education and regularly mentors undergraduate medical students. He is also involved in several research projects involving prostate cancer.
He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and a member of the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand.
